After iCloud, hackers targeted Snapchat. Snapchat is a photo and video sharing application for Android and iOS that allows user to send images to one another and image will be disappear after 10 seconds.
A 13 GB of snapchat database has been leaked which took number of years was leaked to online messageboard (4chan).The users of 4chan named this breach as "The Snappening".
"We can confirm that Snapchat's server were not breached and were not the source of leaks. Sanpchatters were victimised by their use of third-party apps to send and receive snaps,a practise that we expressly prohibit in our Terms of Use precisely because they were compromise our user's security",said Snapchat.
