Android Lollipop 5.0

Google has announced its latest mobile operating system called Android Lollipop,version 5.0 . Android 5.0 "Lollipop" is the first version to employ a new design,which Google calls "Material",first announced at the Google I/O developer conference in the summer.
Google also announced the first two devices which will run on Android L: HTC Nexus 9 tablet and Motorola Nexus 6.Google said Android L will be available on Nexus  5,7,10 and Google Play edition devices in the coming weeks.

Android L gives users more granular control over notifications,with the ability to limit them in certain situations.Google included battery saver feature in Android L that will extend battery life of a device by 90 minutes.

Google has also launched Android TV-the Nexus player with which you can play android games on your television with a game pad.Unlike Google TV devices,The Nexus Player doesn't come with keyword,instead it includes a voice activated remote and a visual user graphical interface.Nexus player is powered by Intel Atom quad-core processor and will be available from October 7 for $99.
