Developers in Washington have created a system that will protect Internet user's privacy and increasing the flexibility for web developers to create web applications that will combine data from different websites which helps in improving the safety of web surfing.
According to developers at UCL Stanford University Google Chalmers and Mozilla researchers the system,"Confinement with origin web labels",or cowl,works with Mozilla's Firefox and the open source version of Google Chrome and prevents Malicious code in a website from leaking sensitive information to unauthorized parties.This system also allows code in a website to display content drawn from multiple website.The developers showed that the system provides strong security without slowing the loading speed of webpages and will be freely available for download and use on October 15.
