Jabong is one of the most famous fashion portal for which Amazon is interested in acquiring.Amazon is in talks to buy Jabong. Amazon which is a part of the US based online retailer's plan to bolster its presence selling fashion products.
The price of Jabong by rocket internet is expected to be €388 million or $500 million but a person with direct knowledge said that Jabong is holding for more than $700 million.After Myntra has been acquired by Flipkart in May 2014 for an estimated value of $370 million.Now Amazon is also looking to buy Jabong. Jeff Bezos,the founder of Amazon wanted to spend $2 billion in India this may be the reason behind acquiring of Jabong by Amazon.
