Online shopping site Amazon India to sell packed food and beverages on its portal.Amazon India is first e-commerce website to enter in this category.
Amzon,which launched its operation in June, is planning to unveil this category in the middle of the October,before Diwali i,e 23 October.said by someone who has direct knowledge of this launch.
Amazon is already in talks with brands like kelloggs and Cornitos. Amazon, already started accepting booking for beverages like Coca-Cola Zero and will begin deliveries next week.Amazon India did not immediately respond to a request for comment.In July,Amazon said that it will invest $2 billion in India.
