Swedish hacker <b>Gottfrid Svartholm Warg</b>,who co-founded torrent site <b>The Pirate Bay </b>in 2003,was found guilty by a Danish court in the biggest hacking case in the history of Denmark.He and a co-defendant were found guilty of stealing data from the system of CSC, a major American IT firm.</div>

Gottfrid Svartholm Warg illegally accessed police email account and social security files.The initial hack attack took place in February 2012 and gave the access to the sensitive information for about six months.<br />
<br />
The case was filled in 2012 when Gottfrid was arrested in a Cambodian apartment in September 2012.<br />
<br />
Defence lawyers said that,"Although the hack attacks were carried out using a computer owned by Gottfrid,he was not the person that used it to steal files."<br />
<br />
However,the court said the unauthorised access to CSC computer mainframes was a systematic and organised approach, dismissing the Swede's claims that his  computer system was used by someone else to carried out attack as "unlikely".<br />
<br />
He was deported form Cambodia in September 2013 to Sweden where he served a jail term for copyright theft because of his involvement with the Pirate Bay file-sharing site.<br />
<br />
In a seprate trial Gottfird was sentenced for 1 year in a Swedish jail for hacking into a bank's computer.Gottrid will be sentenced on 31 October and could face 6 years jail. </div>

"Our computers and systems have not been damaged,though some elements of the unclassified network have been affected.The temporary outages and loss of connectivity for our users is solely the result of measures we have taken to defend our network." official said.<br />
<br />
FBI,Secret Service and National Security Agency are involved in this investigation, report said.<br />

The breach was discovered two to three weeks ago, report said.However,White House officials did't commented yet on who was behind the intrusion or how much data has taken.<br />

Some staffers were asked to change their passwords.Intranet or VPN access was shut down off for a while,but the email system,apart from some minor delays,was never down,report said </div>
